About GRADS-4C

WHAT IS GRADS-4C

About GRADS-4C

As an educational hub, GRADS-4C (Genomic Research and Data Science Center for Computation and Cloud Computing) facilitates the use of cloud computing technologies to help researchers have more access to genomic data sets, tools and resources.

GRADS-4C helps researchers gain skills with NIH cloud-based platforms such as the NHGRI Genomic Data Science Analysis, Visualization and Informatics Lab-space (AnVIL) and the All of Us Research Program’s Researcher Workbench.

GRADS-4C furthermore operates as a hands-on research training network to enhance access to training in cloud-computing for the future workforce, particularly among under resourced populations.

ABOUT OUR TEAM

Who is GRADS-4C

The Genomic Research and Data Science Center for Computation and Cloud Computing (GRADS-4C) is an NIH NHGRI funded (U24-HG013013) Training Hub that facilitates the use of cloud computing technologies to help researchers have more access to genomic data sets, tools and resources.

GRADS-4C is based at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University, and anchors together a community of researchers and students from institutions across the region including Shaw University, Winston-Salem State University and North Carolina Central University .
